Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, 2020| Côte de Beaune, Burgundy

This is a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay that goes through partial carbonic maceration in oak. It is then aged for 10 months in old barrels.

Tasting Note: Passetoutgrain should be better known as this appellation for Burgundian wines made from Gamay and Pinot makes joyful wines full of fruit and charm. A real vin de soif - this is fantastic with cheese, charcuterie and other simple plates.

Background: A field blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay with 100% whole cluster fruit. Ageing is for 1 year in old oak barrels.

Serving: Slighty chilled, a short spell in the fridge or ice bucket.
